Hoosier 245/45/17 Drag Radial a reality!

I just got off the phone with my contact at Hoosier Tire. The first test tires are being made as I type. I will be receiving my test tires late next week, and if all goes well, production will begin in late August. A big thanks goes out to 9sec9, as he helped move this project along by purchasing the entire first run of these tires in order to move things along quicker. They will be available thru me as soon as production starts. Feel free to shoot me a PM as things get closer. We will post up details as they become available. Indy

Drives: my wife nuts and my son to the track.

wooohoooo. Finally a tire that meets the need. As I type this, I know how easy it is to hype what your buddy sells or what you have in stock, or what you make the most profit on, etc, etc. In this case, I know how difficult it was for us to find a GOOD drag radial for stock size wheels. The Nittos didn't get the job done by evidence of our video, but I truly think that the Hoosiers are finally going to be the answer. Can't wait to start the tests.

I heard awhile ago about these and i think its a really good thing theyll have for the evos with stock 17s that make good power or want to run good times. no brake swaps and no little wheels for a great street tire

We will have pricing for these tires by mid week. At this time, the demand in and out of country has been very high, 40% of the first run has been been spoken for, and we are looking into a second run now. Thanks, Indy
