Transfer case pinion shattered . This shouldn't happen (other stuff should break first), so I think there may have been a lube issue... Still investigating that.

Michael,
Did this car ever smoke on stock turbo or any other turbo it had on it while under boost? My car, along with a bunch of other X's I see tuned around 11.0:1 seem to lay down a smoke screen while boosting... while your 10.80 car isn't smoking at all at the track or on the dyno. Care to comment? Thanks...

We never had a problem with the car putting out a smoke screen. What color is your smoke? Black? White?

I'll keep this simple.
First pass, went 12.4 @ 111. The car has more in it, needs better driving.
2nd pass, forgot to turn off the ASC, bog and I let off.
3rd pass, launched and broke the rear diff. Yes, you read that correct. The rear end wheel hopped real bad and she let loose pretty much as I finally got off slipping the clutch.

That is still pretty rich and you'll have fuel smoke for sure. Nothing to wory about.
My car likes 12.5:1 and even leaner on race gas. I occasionally have a good puff of fuel smoke still when I roll into it but it isn't constant like what you probably have
