trap speeds with greddy 25g

i have searched but no luck... i wana hear about trap speeds on the greddy 25g on a stock block around 25-30psi.....from what i have heard and searched, they make good power but the only downside is the manifold that tends to crack... thxs in advance

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember the Greddy 25G was about a 47 lb/ minute turbo. There aren't many of these out there and trap speeds will be all over the place based on the driver and the car, but this gives you an idea of potential power.

The 25g has been shown on here making 450-500whp, I don't think I've ever seen it maxed out though.

Then shouldn't it be close to a standard 35r, looks to have the same capabilities.

i currently have the greddy t67 on my car. it has been on there for about a month. i do live right near a dragway but im not done tuning it yet so i will be going in a week or 2. kit seems good so far. pulls hard, external wg is loudd and finally no boost creep like the stock turbo. iv got 1000cc injectors in and so far iv only got them up to upper 60's for idc. i'm running 23 psi currently but am going out this weekend to get around 25-26.

edit... iv heard ppl compare it to a 30r alot. not 35r

Yeah, I think it falls between the 30R and 35R as far as capability too. Its just kind of old school and it never really caught on to Evos in this country. I see a lot of them installed on SR20s, MR2s and Evos overseas. Might want to hit up the international boards.

From the dusty depths of my memory ...

This turbo is basically a 25G compressor with TD06 turbine that can be mated to any of several turbine housings. I believe the compressor is rated around 57 lb/min. The 10cm2 hotside was the only reasonable option, anything else seemed too small or too large. The turbine side is the limiting factor.

Back in 2004 or so, this was a viable, albeit costly option that never presented a viable price to performance cost ratio. They wanted over $2k just for the turbo. Today, this option seems to be completely outclassed by the FP Red when performance, support, and price are considered.

yes pump gas. iv never run race or meth in my car ever. i began tuning a very little bit today and got it up to 24psi with no knock. i have a boost leak so i gotta fix that tomorrow then hopefully get a few more psi out of it.

my car has never been dynoed either. I usually just go to new england dragway which is like 10 miles from my house and use my trap speed to figure out my HP. on the stock 8 turbo n hotside i managed to trap 115's pretty regularly. iv got high hopes for my set-up now

I had this kit on my old car. I hated it. It was so laggy, and made iffy power. Its old technology. plain and simple. I'd compare it to the HKS 3037. I made 400whp at 23 psi. My trap speeds were 116....

I mean ****, My IX is trapping 116+ with out meth stock turbo... look for another kit.
