The last run there is audio, just no music. It's just hard to hear because he is running stock exhaust and cat

Was the time ever backed up? I've seen the timing lights read incorrectly (14 sec cars were reading 11.xx) And more importantly, what was the trap speed?

The most I've ever seen from just a reflash on a stock IX is about 25-30 HP. It's gonna take a lot more than 30 HP to go from 13.x to a 12.1 sec.

A reflash might let you spike up to 26-27 lbs, but top-end is still gonna be around 19-20 lbs. Race gas alone isn't gonna do squat for HP.

Might be more believable if this was done up north with the cold temps.

I'm not sure why everyone is doubting the times of this car. Hell a friend of mine went 12.30's with his stock evo 9 with just a turbo back exhaust, absolutely nothing else done to it, not even a flash.

Another friend of mine with a 05 evo 8 with just an TBE exhaust and MBC went 12.20's.
With the right driver it is very possible, I've seen it done with my own 2 eyes.

Okay.. that's something to shoot for my next time to the track.. TBE untuned on an 8.. going for 12.3's

Thank you Mr.Eagle for injecting some sanity in this place.

To the track inspection officials in this thread, if you look at the vids of my friends and I, it's amazing to me you think I'm so clueless to be racing down a track with innacurate timing or is downhill. Give me a break for christ sake. In your world cams and an exhaust takes you from 13.0 to 11.0

Here is the slip by the way I met up with my buddy tonite and snapped a pic.

My pops lives in AZ man.

If you ever visit Antigua you will be blown away at how friggen scary and evil our track is. You can get a good time but it takes balls. I promise it's harder to click off a good time on our track than in your big lane, super highway, trackbite down the length stadium tracks. We have dust down the lengths of our tracks

especially at the end near the bumps :|

If Tofik is such an ace why is he only pulling 1.8 60's. Sorry I'm not buying the whole 12.1 bone stock deal especially with such a lowsy 60'. Whole lot of data missing too....

Far be it for me to argue with the world record holder, but please answer my simple question... how do you think an Evo gets from bone stock 13.0'ish to your time in stages?

13.0 - bone stock
12.5 - tune
12.0 - race fuel (more boost / timing)
11.5 - exhaust/intake
11.0 - cams

What exactly do you see wrong with those figures? You think the exhaust and the intake give you more than half second? So you are calling evil eagle a liar too?

This is what I know. If I drove that exact car with my normal 1.59-1.62 60' in stock trim the car would've went 11.8ish-. Now your telling me a bone stock IX with just flash is capable of that....

I refuse to argue. The numbers just dont make sense to me period.....

The highest stock trap I've read here is about 105-106 mph. So you're telling me with ONLY a flash and no supporting mods, your buddy gained 60-70 more HP?

I want the name of the tuner, because he/she obviously knows something that all the others don't.

And you haven't answered my previous question, was this time ever backed up??
