Just made it to the 11s - Season End
I wanted to really go out one last time out before the track closes and run the car without and hikkups... Finally ast Sunday i went to Etown with a friend of mine (2 cars) and try to do a time that is proper for my setup. I managed to make 4 passes.
The car is an 2006 EVO IX with Cossie M2 cams, tubular BR3065 kit, 3" catless exhaust, 780s, single walbro, stock ecu, BR intake, BR Race core fmic, BR licp, Nisei uicp, Shep tranny with ACT XT-SS clutch, 17 Koseis K1TS on Dunlop Winter M3 (yep winter tires)...
I run the car on EXXON 93 octane spiking at around on each gear change 24psi and settling in the mid/low 23s @ 7500rpm. The car weighted 3378 with me in and a 1/4 tank.
First pass our of the highway and according to the timeslip @ 33 degrees temp!!!
rt 1.023
60ft 1.878
330ft 5.166
1/8 7.813
trap 90.92
1000 11.098
1/4 11.995
trap 119.01
That was my first 11sec pass ever on pump with a bad 60ft and full lift shifts! I am not using the NLFT patch neither powershift... MY log showed on average from 100% TPS-gearchange-100% TPS over 0.500 secs in all three gear changes...
Second Pass at 34 degrees again no changes... Way slower on the first 2 gearchanges since i was bouncing my rev limiter which is 7980rpm since i dont have valve springs/retainers with the Cossies...
rt 0.884
60ft 1.852
330ft 5.126
1/8 7.804
trap 90.62
1000 10.102
1/4 12.006
trap 118.77
Third pass at 34 degrees again... Almost bogged of the line as i tried to backpedal in order to control spinning... Thank god i didnt, gear changes much better but again in the region of 0.45-0.50 full lift shifts...
rt 0.895
60ft 1.857
330ft 5.166
1/8 7.824
trap 91.25
1000 10.094
1/4 11.977
trap 119.9
This was and my best pass for the day...
Fourth pass, i lowered my tire pressure to 22psi and tried again... The car bogged completely since the temp raised at 37 degrees around 12.30 and my 2-step was set at 6000rpm... Probably 22psi was way to low for the 6000 2step...
rt 0.631
60ft 1.967
330ft 5.325
1/8 8.025
trap 90.65
1000 10.309
1/4 12.202
trap 117.38
Unfortunately my laptop couldn't connect to the ecu to either adjust my 2step or to even try a 100 octane map that i had prepared to test at the track... Ohhh well next year.... The car was running 11.1-11.2 afrs and the timing is 4 degrees at spool increasing to 12 degrees at redline which is 7980rpm....
I think the car with better driving and a decent 60ft can go faster without touching anything else...
Plans for next year include EMS, built block and head and probably HTA86...
Comments welcome...

Why go with a bigger turbo when you havent used the one you have to its full potential?
I would work on your driving. Seems as though you are having a hard time with utilizing your current setups power but you want more. I can see the youtube video now: Built EVO IX with HTA86 gets owned by stock turbo IX.

Hova thank you for your critisism... I said I will do the extra mods I mentioned before but I didn't say in which particular order... I might do aem first bc I am tires of the incosistency of the stock ecu, I might do the block first to try and push the 3065 as much as I can...
As petey mentioned, traction was the biggest issue and then the inability of my laptop to connect to the ecu to try and adjust 2step etc... For running at 33 degrees and on winter tires I am fairly happy....

Your doing good! Just need to work on that 60ft times! That will make all the difference! Lower your tire pressure to 25 in the back and 21 in the front! I do 1.62 60ft on stock tires! I run 7.70 1/8! Make your 2 step like 6k!

Well currently on the sets sets of wheels that i have, the snow tires are the best option... Once i ran on my 18s and i broke an axle in half...
I think the combination of very low temps, snow tires and the problem with the laptop cost me a pass in the deep 11s...
When i had the stock rims/tires i was very consistent at 1.70-1.73 60fts... Just from that the car would be in the 11.6-11.7
My 2step was 6000rpm... With this turbo anything lower most of the times it bogs...
