So what you're telling us is that your brother's stock internals couldn't handle it and his head lifted. Nice.

the track is going to be open Saturday morning but the chances of me installing the turbo and tuning it friday night and being ready to race first thing in the morning is slim to none...I just don't have that much good luck. Mr. Turco is overnighting me his tactrix cable so it should be here tomorrow (Friday). I'm sure I'll have some g-tech and DLL results this weekend.

well shoot, I installed the HTA86, did a few pulls and promptly busted 1st gear...I did see 617awhp in DLL before it let go. I have a PM in to DB to see about getting a Bushwacker tranny asap. Only 3 more track events for the year

oh damn hahah, you went big
sadly people typically aren't vocal enough about parts failures so sometimes you have to learn the hard way that OEM bits won't cut it
my 1st gear shudders terribly, 2nd is fine, 3rd has a tiny grind going into it (not audible but you can feel it) and 4th started locking me out here and there even at low rpm, 5th is fine. I adjusted the pedal a few times but it didn't make any difference so it seems to be the real thing. Right now I'm taking off gently in 2nd, skipping 3rd when I can to avoid the syncro grind. Just waiting to hear back from DB about the Bushwacker availability. Sadly my TT Stealth is still under the knife or I'd be driving it while the EVO is being repaired.

Man, this turbo is looking better and better.
How about you pull the turbo and send it to me while you're getting the trans fixed. I promise I'll keep it nice and warm.
