Brain just needs to practice his launching technique and power shifting. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to drive a 9 second car as my first car down the strip! He will get it and as Trent said it will just take practice.

^^^HAHA thats great!
Well I finally got home at about 2 in the morning! It was an awesome night to finally join the 9 second club. Car is an absolute beast on the race gas! My first run of the night after Trent went 9s, I went sideways in 1 and 2! So now its just a matter of getting the 2-step and suspension dialed in!
I want to so THANK YOU so much to Dave and Dan Buschur for building me an absolutely AMAZING machine! And to everyone else at Buschur for their hand in it!! The car is a freak! And yes, this is a true street car, it hauled slicks, jack, impact, all my racing gear and my laptop all piled in the back-seat and the truck with ALL THE SEATS IN!
Trent, you are the freaking man! I cant thank you enough for all your help with driving and helping set it up and get it running right! (by the way, thanks for the dinner table!) lol
This car also got about 29 mpg yesterday, I left Lima at 1 pm and got to Buschur at about 3:15, hung out there, and then Trent and I left for 42 at about 4:45 and got there at 5:30 or so, I then left 42 at about 11 and finally got home about 1:30 am! So the car had about 5 hours of driving plus 7 passes on race gas with NO problems! Truly Amazing!
And thanks to everyone else on their comploments! And I know I need more seat time, I only made 4 passes with this car before I got the build. I went from a 13 second car to a 10 second pump gas car with only 4 passes under me. So its all a learning experience, so I have to thank Trent for guiding me through all this and helping me learn the entire time!

It's like you said, Practice. The more you do this the more comfortable you become with it. One thing I found helpful is not to think too much. We tend to get in our own way. Just line her up and let it RIP. Congrats on the 9's.

Bryan (sp?), by having the quickest and fastest times at each interval on the same slip means that SOMETHINGS gonna give on one or the other soon. That last posted time is pretty unusual to have EVERYTHING quicker and faster than the previous fastest. Nice job for sure.

Thanks guys! And the 36 MPH was with Trent driving it and there arent many better at getting it out of the hole! I made a pass that gained 41 MPH! This car is rediculous everywhere! It was all over the track the first pass I made, about blew the tires off! But me and Trent are working on getting the 2-step and suspension sorted out and then Ill get it there.
