How can you blame them? Subaru is the best, everyone knows that.

I've got the O2 housing coming to strap on the 05' turbo I've got bolted to the tubular borla header- just waiting to be installed. After that all I need to order are the cams, FMIC, and head studs from ETS and I'll be set to have you tune me! Hoping for low 12's.

7.51 @ 92 if I remember correctly, I don't have the slip handy.
I have some older vids of me another time at the 1/8 mile track in Jackson TN and Gleason TN on the same weekend here on my forum: http://www.racevideoforums.com/forum...ead.php?t=2703
the best E.T. at Gleason Dragway was 7.56 @ 93.94mph with a 1.65 60' on bald street tires let down to 25psi

I'm doing a 12.5 @ 109 with terrible 60ft's. Best trap was 113 and I'm thinking the MR has very low 12's in it as it sits. TB did a best 12.2 last weekend and trapped 108(If I remember correctly)with a few more Bolt ons than me. I think my trap can get me into the 12.2 range. I'm needing an O2 housing, but thinking of doing a wastegate Atmosphere dump O2 housing mod next. In the next month I'm doing new FMIC and UICP/LICP. That should def get me into the way low 12's.
Mellon come on down the Birmingham we race all year, going to the track tomorrow at Montgomery Motor Sports Park to see if my times are lower. Have yet to have a good run since the weather got cooler. All my runs were in the very high summer temps.
At one time I had wanted to do METH and spoke to you about it, you didnt like it what changed your mind? I think it has a place at the track to flow our 9 turbos better by upping the boost like Buschur is doing by boosting to 30 psi on the 9 turbo and cutting timing down. At this point my thoughts are flowing is better , such as free flowing TB exhaust, Intercooler/Piping. I am intrigued by this 30psi boost that seems to be the rage now on the stock 9 turbo. What your thoughts? Are cams and head work needed for that high boost but I've heard the opposite. 30 PSi is 30 PSi though, way more than I ever thought on Stock motor/turbo...we all need to change our way of thinking.....or...???

At one time I had wanted to do METH and spoke to you about it, you didnt like it what changed your mind? I don't mind experimenting on my own car but I won't do it on a customers cars, there's just too many varibles to tuning meth/alky remotely I think it has a place at the track to flow our 9 turbos better by upping the boost like Buschur is doing by boosting to 30 psi on the 9 turbo and cutting timing down. At this point my thoughts are flowing is better , such as free flowing TB exhaust, Intercooler/Piping. I am intrigued by this 30psi boost that seems to be the rage now on the stock 9 turbo. Keep in mind that boost is just a measurement of how much air is backed up in the intake manifold and doesn't always mean a higher number = the faster of two cars. A car with good heads/cams/turbo running 25psi might be worlds faster than one with stock heads/cams/turbo running 30psi

It seems like you're lacking a little power on the back end for 280 cams and the Green. I ran the same 1/4 time with a 7.67 @ 89mph with the stock turbo and hks 264s. I would expect your setup to pick up a little extra on the back end.
Not trying to take anything away from you though. Excellent driving and I always love your videos

yeah I just ran out of tuning time at the track, I picked up 1mph in each of the last 3 runs but they shut down before I got done. I did a little more tuning on the street and it went 1.66, 11.78 @ 116 with my best mph being 118 so far but I blew the tires off on those runs so the e.t. slipped to 11.9x iirc.

I remember this thread when you first got your Green, Mellon. I just went to the track for the first time with mine and I wanted to compare.
I was only able to run 12.1, but my traps were 118+ with a high of 119 on the day. This was on straight 93, stock cams, and a full weight IX SSL... and clearly I haven't learned to launch my new clutch yet.
Mellon, what were your mods when you made these runs ?

I think at that time I had:
05 EVO 8
evogreen @ 25psi spike on 93 octane
PTE 680cc injectors
BR 02 housing
BR turbo back exhaust
BR deluxe fmic
HKS 280
my tuning www.mellontuning.com
street tires, full weight car
I never did get back to the track after the first attempt, I sold the kit and bought the HTA 35R kit. I went 100mph in the 1/8 spinning through first gear so far but haven't hit the 1/4 mile track yet. The g-tech showed a best of 130mph @ 30psi on 93 octane.
