Mellon Tuning EVO *video* 1/8th mile results 10/26/07 and 10/27/07
First time I've taken the EVO to a drag strip, it's just an 1/8th mile track but it was fun

nice runs mellon it must be between 11.5-11.7 the 1/4mile its amazing for having just pump gas 93oct.
and 1.65 on bald tires what would a new set of tires do? myabe hit a 1.60 for sure.

yeah I should take pics of the tires.. you'd laugh, they are flat worn out. I dropped the pressure to 25psi and it helped a little at Jackson the slippery track but at Gleason where I got the 1.65 traction wasn't a problem unless I didn't line up in the groove correctly.
I left the 2-step at 6000 since I was happy with the results, I went home with a good time and didn't break anything  I only made 3 passes there total:
1st - bogged it 1.9 60'
2nd - 1.65 60' chirping the tires slightly
3rd - spun through first because I lined up out of the groove.
there was time for plenty of more runs but I didn't feel the need to abuse the car.

I love love love the HKS 280's, it made the car pull hard all the way to redline, no more diving power at 7k on.
the 20g is okay, it's a minor upgrade for pump gas over the 16g, about 35awhp at the most. I still plan on doing a meth kit and turning the wick up on it to 30psi with more timing and a leaner AFR and if that's not enough I'm going to ditch it for a 35R kit. I won't be satisfied with 11's for long, I've been there with my Stealth for years already.
