Mine flutters ridiculous. Either fully loosened or fully tightened. That is why I never use it. I only tried it again at the track to see if it holds boost better around 23psi than the 1G. I am going to get in touch with Mike at Forge and try the spring kits. It calls for either a yellow or blue spring. Maybe it will help. The car is almost undrivable over 55 mph due to its hiccups.
It mounts to the 1G. It comes completely apart. You can flange it, boot it, recirc, vta. Just about any set up.

The RS has no springs like the previous Forge. I haven't heard of anyone changing springs in the RS. The old Forge that looks like the 1G has fluttering problems and about 4-5 different springs.
I don't think your RS is right, or something is wrong with the setup. To expound on my earlier daily driving input, I also drive up to Denver on I-25 quite often to race, and the speed limit is 75. That means I'm holding steady at 80-85mph in 6th gear right where boost is the most sensitive. The slightest touch on the accelerator builds boost, but I can drive fine without flutter/surging. I just full-lift my foot instead of doing it gradually. At 55, it's no issue.

Mine has two spring set ups. One for recirc and one for vta. I thought the spring kits were available for this unit, I could be wrong. But either way, you can't drive the car at 80-85. It would drive you crazy on how bad it flutters. Like I said, I need to talk with Mike, I'm sure we'll get it right as something is definitely wrong.

That's odd my forge rs is doing the same thing, no matter how I adjust it partial throttle my car bucks and at highway speeds its almost unbearable. I just sent Mike a PM tonight, hopefully he will know what the problem is.
Great times btw, that's very impressive.

Fathouse- 2StepsAhead is correct. I like to clean up the engine bay as much as possible for maintenance and the upper I/C pipe comes flanged for the 1G. This also allows me to swap bov's.
John4321 -Maybe we should start cracking some whips over at Forge. Mine is coming off today and won't go back on until it's fixed.

FYI, the Forge RS bov holds the same amount of boost whether adjusted fully loose or fully tightened, IF you have a proper pressure/vac source. This has been confirmed by myself and a few others. This was found up to 38 psi or boost pressure.
If yours is fluttering with it fully loosened then something is wrong with it. They dont normally do that.

Most wanted it sounds like my car. I have the same blow off. Its a pain when you try to cruise.I think you should hit around a low 11.4 with the cams. I hit 11.51 with a 1.596 60ft at 118.60 and I am also having the same problem. I can't get the car to grab.I am looking for and evo 9 turbo becaue I have the 9.5 hotside. Referring back to a question I have Intercooler pipes upper and lower, Turbo back exhuast some thing named forza catback, Meagan manifold and ebay o2 housing(Which I really don't think it gives much), 280 cams, and cames gears done by Scott MR, Injen intake, Tilton Hybrid and An unkown FLASH(BELIEVE ITS A DYNO FLASH). NEXT TO COME WHEN I GET THE NINE TURBO (WHICH I ALREADY HAVE IS) slicks. But I see that are drving still are similar. We also haved a local that run 11.6 at 118mph with stock EVO nine cams. GREAT JOB ON THAT RUN.What PSI do you run at the track on pump?

Okay so I say that 11.3 is reasonable with more boost. I spike a 32 psi and hold like 22-24 after 7 grand. 110 octane straight with 11.7 in fourth
