I think sheps car is a much more streetable car than that. Its cool, but a purpose built drag evo is like....well.....a purpose built Skyline hydraulic competition car, or a corvette lowrider...it just seems off the mark. Anyone agree?

By the way, the craftsmanship on that car is impeccable. Much attention to design, function and detail. Whatcha gonna do bout DAT, Shep?

You guyz miss some important parts:
1- Car runs AWD
2- Its still 2.0 liter
3- The only tubed part is the front
4- Their Tracks is ****, VERY VERY bad. He had 1.46 60-foot....
at a US track he would hit 1.3-1.35 60-foot dropping the ET to 8.50-8.55 right away.
You talk like its a RWD Evo with a Ford 9" and Powerglide...
I have seen sheps car compete with Domestic TH400 powered supras in the same class...
A car like ESX new procar isn't the same class as these evos or shep etc, that car is a fully tubbed car, so its a Dragster with a Subaru Silhouette. It must run 7's to be competitive...

Before Docile ran its 8.87, it went across a muddy foot-high field of grass *cough* sorry, "return *cough* road", then across a very muddy entrance to the runway, onto a nowhere near as sticky drag strip, and still almost took the world record. over here, we have to remove the frickin weeds from our intercoolers before worrying about any other changes. At the end of today, the "drag strip" will have the barriers moved by forklift, and converted back to a hardly-ever-used runway for little crop-dusting planes. We only get to use that dragstrip *cough* runway *cough* 4 times a year. But we make do with what we can. Thank our lovely government for that.

And this is from the man himself, Andre (Owner/Builder/Driver of DOCILE)

The first run off the trailer was 8.87 @ 162mph. 1.46 60', and 5.8 660' @ 128mph. While I'm stoked to finally run into the 8's, it was FAR from a good run. Too much wheel spin off the line, followed by a messed shift to second, and a short shift into 3rd. The car was still only running 28 psi too

Crazy sh1t huh

Understood, and I'm sure it would go faster over here. My point was that you can't compare it to Sheps car because sheps car first of all runs a dot tire, he has most of the interior there minus seats, has a full exhaust exiting out the back, has all glass no tubed parts anywhere. Sheps car runs a original 5-speed box with his modifications, you run a dogbox. Your car would compete in the class here where Gary Gardella and all those guys run. So yes it is very impressive and I'm sure you would go faster here in the US but you cannot compare it to Sheps car.
Nonetheless it is a sick car and congratulations for going so fast on ****ty conditions.

Why would you make excuses about running an 8sec 1/4
..and why would you build and 8 sec car if u don't have a decent track to drive it on
Still a hot ride thats for sure !

This is not My Car we talk about. Its the Speedtech Evo3.
My Own car is an Evo-2 being built right now, running in the same class as shepherd.
We are Stock Uni-Body and Aim for 8sec passes on a Methanol powered 4G63.

it is a bad lighting effect. If you take pics in low light you can see veins thru skin. Looks sick. If you watch the paris hilton video in the nightvision she look gross cuz all her veins show thru her skin. In normal light she is totaly hot.
