big brake kits! what do u recommend for evo 9:
ALCON big brake kit

am gonna throw this out there, all three are excellent kits. At this point, its comes down to $$.

+1. My guess is that you"re going for more show, than go. if you got the bucks....pull the trigger. Look into stoptechs as well

Just make sure whatever you get ( if you are using them for daily driving ) that they have dust seals!
Many people make the mistake of putting competition spec calipers on their cars and expecting to do the same normal road use which would be 'high mileage' for what the calipers were designed for, the end result is you will need to put an overhaul kit through them fairly regularly which would require both dust and piston seals. You have to remember, a competition spec car does not see high mileage.
As an example for what I'm talking about, high performance road car calipers from AP for instance have dust seals, competition spec AP calipers do not. It is similar for other brands, although you need to be careful as not all brands will have dust seals.
Just remember while competition spec stuff is usually very robust and...Well, let’s face it very cool. It's not always suitable for road usage, and to the people that know this (if you are trying to impress) you’ll just look like a flogger.
