need brakes best bang for buck street mostly

not looking to spend much cant afford itd fluid is low do i put fluid or do i need brakes i want to get roter and pads maybe a kit slottted what should i go with this is an every day driver i have hawk hps with stock calipers not so happy with them want to get better stopping power and better looks as well please help with info thanks sorry for the run on
