Tie Rod

Does anyone know much about tie rods, the reason is that I need to get my changed the inner and outer.

i have 20k miles on my ix mr se...have to get on of the front right rie rods replaced..it keeps clicking...unlike the others...lameeeeee....

Drives: 05 Evo VIII

Tie-rods generally don't "click" If you are hearing a "clicking noise", there is a good chance that it is the cv joint. Try to be more descriptive of the symptoms.

When I went to Les schwab to get alignment one of the salesmen told me that my tie rods were loose and needed to get changed. But a week later the managers said they didn't need to get changed. Thanks for the reply though.

Clicking noise is indeed a CV Joint symptom.
