Bushing install - need any and all advice I can get!

So, I started the suspension teardown yesterday to install the full whiteline kit.

I have the passengers side rear suspension removed so far and will work on the drivers side this week so I can have it off by the weekend to get them pressed out. I want to make sure I do this correctly - a friend has a press he says he can help push these bushings out and in with, but I want to make sure I am getting them done correctly.

I am a suspension n00b per say, so anyone who has experience in this arena, please feel free to correct me...

1) removing ball-joints - I am using a tool similar to the FSM and while this does not tear the boots, it squeezes them and some grease/goop to come out the boot - is this OK? Can I re-pack the boot or do I need to replace the joints? From my searches, ball joints are not available and the whole arm needs replaced? WTH is mitsu thinking? Are new boots available?

2) Removing factory bushings - Can someone tell me which ones need metal sleeves cut out of them? So far, I know of the rear trailing arm only! Do the upper arms and lower arms also have sleeves in them?

3) Lower arms - I need to replace the middle bushing only as the other two on the lower arms are spherical bearings...Thanks for the clarification!

Thanks!
