Brake line install gone bad

i did the stainless steel line install and afterwards was getting little pressure to the front so therefore had very little brakes

the mech believed that the seals in the master cylinder maybe be shot as the fluid was dark in there before we started

no air in the system either

any thoughts here?
where can i purchase a MC kit?
any other mitsu vehicles might work that carry this 17/16"bore as these may not be available to me

Thanks

so you had brakes before the install. now you dont. You didnt bleed the system dry did you. If so you still have air in there. Or you have to bleed the abs system.

A normal switch over doesnt cause problems unless there is a leak, air in the system, or was bleed dry and then added fluid.

You did it wrong then...there is a bleed port on the inside of the caliper. Do that first then the outside.

there are 2 bleeder nuts on top of each caliper, inside and outside- it's a PITA but you have to take all 4 wheels off and start with the caliper farthest away from master cylinder (passenger rear) and bleed each one in succession to the nearest to master cylinder (driver front)-- I made this same mistake 2 weeks ago. We had to bleed each caliper twice before the air was completely out of the system. And MAKE SURE that the SS brake lines are in the factory mounts behind the calipers, otherwise the lines will tear the CV boots and I will cost $300 and axle to fix it!

In the a.m. I am gonna remove the wheel and look for it.
I am surprised I clearly didn't see this other bleeder and it was on top too
Does it look like the one on the outside?
I am gonna get some bottles of brake fluid and get to work
Does the back also have 2 bleeders like the front?
We got good pressure from the back, was just the front was lacking pressure

Thanks again guys for the help

yes 2 bleeders. there on both sides of the caliper. Do the whole system over again all wheels off in the correct order. Also do the outside bleeder first, than the inside. Then move on to the next caliper.

Pump the pedal 3 times, hold, have someone crack the bleeder, close it as soon as the pedal starts to move. Dont let the pedal hit the floor. Do it until the fluid is perfect coming out of the tube. Wash fluid off of caliper asap. Expect to do this procedure at least 5 times per bleeder.
