Autronic/ Air Condition

Does the autronic ecu work the air condition because my evo 4 has this ecu and my air condition doesn't work when i asked around everybody told me that maybe the ecu does not work it is this true

with the PnP yes it will work
with the wire in models i dont think you can't but best to check on the autronics forum www.autronic.com

The EVO8 board shouldn't have a problem with the air conditioning. However, there are settings that can be made with the software. You may want to plug in and check your settings. I haven't heard about Mitsu changing any wiring on the ECU for 04, but it's possible. You may want to do a search for the ECU wiring diagram and compare it to your 04's harness (I haven't looked at an 04 harness yet).

I have autronic on my 7 and it does work the AC. however you need to link the compressor to a relay output on the board to make this happen...contact MArk shead at MAD on the lancerregister...he will help

Also note that the on board relays are just in fact negative triggers which must be wired to external relays.

i have it on my 8 and no probs..well just the lack of having the idle stepper motor work..
