Autronic and FIC 1600's
I currently have the AEM EMS and I'm going to be switching to the SM4 early next year. I'm using the FIC 1600 injectors, and I don't see those in the Autronic software. Is anybody else using these injectors with their Autronic ecu? How did you set them up?

The numbers on my injectors don't match any of the numbers in the software. There is a 5 ohm 1600cc Bosch injector though, it might be close enough for my needs. Anybody have any advice for me?

when you purchase the autronic, ask your dealer which injector lookup to use.

I know how Autronic's customer support works. I've talked to my dealer numerous times, as well as other dealers. They all say that when the time comes they'll help me out. Well I'm not going to buy something that "might" not work. I need to know if my injectors will work or if I need to buy the injectors that my dealer is trying to sell me.
This is the Autronic forum, where people can ask questions about Autronic products. If you're not going to help then please stay out of my thread. Thanks

any injector will work with sm4 flawlessly. you don't need dealer to tell you that, that is not any secret, in fact, we are proud of that fact!!

the sm4 is a standalone unit that replaces the ecu and comes with it's own wiring loom. Autronic makes PnP (plug and play) boards that will work in direct replacement of the evo ecu as well.

there is no SM4 based PNP for ANY mitsu except for 9. The older models will be adde later, starting with EVO8.
Evo 9 SM4 has 3 connectors.
