SM4 & 500R ignition problems

Im haveing a problem that i hope someone can help with. We are get 4 ignition events per rotaion of the engine on every cylinder. These are happening at 0 - 90- 180- 270 degrees. Every cylinder is the same and we cant seem to figure out what is going on. I have firmware version 1.02 and i know that the newer 1.06 has the mitsubishi triggers you can pick from the drop down but obviosly not in 1.02. Can anybody think of what could be causing this?

The cam and crank triggers are setup as Hall Effect if that matter both with Rising trig edge. We are using -ve edge (pulse) to coincide with the 500r.

If anybody has a SM4 not PNP please contact me i would love to pick your brain!

Thank You
Chris

Ray Hall answers very promptly. Be sure to describe your problem in as much detail as possible for the best results.

Ya i already talked to Ray on the phone and through email. He says version 1.02 will still work just allot more to setup. So he wrote me a base map but it still dont work. Weird I ordered another SM4 just to see if it will work.

Thanx
Chris

I think its unrealistic to expect Ray to tune your car for you with a basemap, that is the job of the tuner.

I have talked to him numerous times, and he has been able to point me in the correct direction...

Maybe you just aren't asking him the right questions.
