Autronic PnP board for Evo IX?

Anyone knows when the plug and play board will be available for the Evo IX? I'm wondering if the PnP board for the Evo VIII can be modified to suit the Evo IX.

just a thought ...wouldn't that mean you can't use the evo IX mivec features ?
cause althought it's the same 4g63 but the evo Ix uses a diffrent heads that uses mivec.. a autronic Pnp board for evo 8 don't have features that control them.

From what I was told by Ray Hall, the aux outputs can be used to control the MIVEC but I have no practical knowledge of how that's done I'm sure a SM2 or SM4 can do the trick but I want a PnP setup to keep it simple and neat.

there will most likely be a writeup and instructions on www.autronic.com for how to use the aux. tables for mivec. I would think a new base cal file would come out for the IX also that allready has the AUX. table set up.

Maybe I should just go for the VPro instead

thats just a guess on my part. I know of a guy in lexington, ky that had an 03' with autronic pnp and he has sold the 03 and has all his parts waiting for his IX. he said it would go right in the 9 so im sure theres an easy way to control mivec. I really dont know much about the V-pro but autronic is a great system.

Just a bump that I'm now considering the SM4 instead. Has anyone used one on an Evo before? Looking for some reviews to compare it against the Motec M800 or HKS VPro..

I will let you know an Sm4 goes on an JDM E9 road car in a couple of days.

edited to add; all worked well but MIVEC travel is limited compared to the S..... brand with AVCS. The 2nd boost valve (not fitted to USA E9) works great for target boost of 1.5bar or greater

You can use a SM4 with a hks f con loom conector or if anyone else does a loom extension you can cut to install the SM4,
Top quality give Ben@101

The evo9 pnp board will be based on an sm4 and will control mivec.

The sm4 will run an evo8 or 9 just fine, its just alot more work than the pnp. We will be firing up our 8 on sm4 in the next few weeks, I would say that I will check back to tell you all how it goes but I already know that the car will run like stock... Even with the 1640cc injectors.
