Just wondering why you did'nt go that route, the Autronic is pretty affordable, especially compared to Motec.

I got a good deal on an AEM last year and so that's what I've got in the car still. The AEM does have provisions for rally-style anti-lag, so we'll see what we can do with the current setup.
MoTeC offers a throttle kicker (opens the throttle when you're off the gas), but that part runs ~$450 plus the cost of an ECU.
When I was at AMS, they added in bungs to the exhaust manifold so we could add air-injection. The way I understand it, the OEM anti-lag bits work off a simple solenoid and under the proper conditions, it moves air from the upper IC pipe to the exhaust manifold. Then, the ECU needs to be doing some work to retard the ignition to allow some fuel to mix with the fresh air in the ehxaust manifold.
From my reading there are some forms of anti-lag that are more destructive on parts than others, and I *think* that for mild anti-lag we may even just be able to use the JDM bits, and when we really want to go for it, we can switch to the crazy timing/fueling maps...but I'm not expert on this stuff, so maybe Martin can chime in?

Pikes Peak is on July 19th this year, however, I'm working on the press release today from our event this past weekend.

Okay, MUST HAVE the restrictor for my stage car. Where did you get that and is it RA legal?

Hopefully AMS will chime in on this one. Both the restrictor (34mm) and open (48mm) intakes were already milled and waiting for me when I arrived in Chicago. I sent them the rules from RA concerning the restrictor, so it should all be legit. I've yet to go thru RA tech with a restrictor tester, but using a caliper tool, its good to go. The restrictor will only work with this turbo, as it has a stepped mounting surface that fits in flush with the housing.
I'm sure whoever milled it would be able to do more, all you'd need to get the guys is info about the shape of your turbo inlet.
