Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure that in the other thread, Eric said thay they designed this manifold to work w/ turbos as smalls as stockers....

i wouldn't mind doing a comparison for you this winter, i have a your vsr now with the bbk75mm, wouldn't mind switching to a bored out stocker or some other type of throttle body possibly with a better pedal travel than the short one of the bbk.

anyway, you guys tuned me in march, wouldn't mind switching to that new manifold and getting some data for you in the process

This manifold will gain horsepower on ANY setup.

Stock turbo, 42r, anything. The design of the manifold improves over-all efficiency of the intake system. Any time you are in boost, this thing will do its job.

I don't have any X + Y - C + B * F dyno charts for this manifold yet. Our previous version VSR manifold would gain horsepower on anything we put it on. We have a galant VR4 here with a stock bottom end and a 16g... it gained horsepower.

The more power your car makes, the more you stand to gain from a properly designed intake manifold such as this one. If your turbo can't flow any more air and you are running 60psi of boost on a stock evo8 turbo, your gains will not be as dramatic, but they will be there.

so switching from my VSR to this F1 on my setup would gain 20whp? or do you think more cause of the higher amount of air flow....

AMS stated above "This manifold will gain horsepower on ANY setup" so in short yes of course it would. However you need to determine what you feel is beneficial for your power level. I am sure cars in the power range of the test car will see the best gains all around however you are going to see gains at any power stage .

At lower boost levels on your car we would see dramatic gains in horsepower when compared to the standard VSR.

At higher boost levels, the gains will not be as dramatic most likely because of the tapering airflow vs boost that we will get at 49psi! I'd say 20whp is a conservative estimate for your setup.

We still need to stick some cams in that thing, with some stronger wastegate springs too... When are you coming in??

Yes, this manifold will gain you power. I have not had the opportunity to show you any results from this setup yet, but I am sure that we will gain efficiency and horsepower output to the wheels on your stage 3 setup.

Are you going to have a back to back test against any of the following:

Magnus Cast Manifold
Driven Innovition
HKS Kansai
Wilson V2

anytime soon?

I'd be interested in that as well, especially against the Wilson V2.

Then again, do we want to start up another intake manifold test debate?
