Me too. I am legitimately interested in this BOV and how it fairs.

I was interested in this unit until I found out your would need a new intake and lots of other hardware/adapters.
Although AMS is utilizing a reducer like I originally thought possible. (Althought they may just be testing the difference between the reducer and non reducer setup).
Either way, I am interested in the results of this test...

I am not trying to muck up this thread or bring another mfr. into this, but there is a thread discussing this very phenomenon and a solution that is forthcoming.
Again this is FYI...If ANYONE at AMS has a problem with this link being in here, I will remove the whole post upon request.

Pertinent parts start at post #37...read posts mainly from EJEvo, Synapse, and BoxerSix. Juicy parts pertaining to solution towards end...kinda cryptic on the solution until BoxerSix is 100% sure all works perfectly.
As for the Tial Recirc Valve...I am eager to see how it installs in an Evo 8 and how it fairs with the part-throttle-modulation-huck-a-buck (yes, that is a technical term!)

I would be interested to hear your take on it...don't keep us in suspense. You can PM me if you like to keep the thread clean.

Perhaps this should be another thread. But you can't hang a statement like that without an explanation.

I'd just like to throw a comment in here. I've noticed I can't find a thread that has any information on how much boost a particular BOV can hold. I think some sort of chart would be a good tool to use when deciding what BOV to purchase. For instance, I had to figure out myself that a 7 lbs spring for a 50mm tial bov only holds upto 23lbs of boost. I also figured out that an HKS super sequential bov holds upto 26lbs. So, can we get some information together to help out the community? Thanks.

The spring does not effect the boost that the valve can handle. They don't leak. The spring is dependent upon the amount of vaccum your car makes at idle, if I'm not mistaken. The only things that will differ from exchanging springs are valve response time etc.
Tialsport, correct me if I am wrong.

This is now available and installed on a couple of time attack EVO X's that are running well. one of them happens to be Mr. Gates car. I will try to get him to come on here and give a review. He has been working on his car here at the shop the last couple of days preparing for his next race. I think if he stays any longer I might have to get him a uniform and put him to work as the shop is CRAZY busy right now
