AMS Evo IX Stage 1-3 build up!

Well I picked up my IX last week and I went to AMS yesterday and made an appointment for next week to get some Xmas presents for my car, Here is the list-

AMS TBE w/ test pipe
BPr7ES heat range 7 plugs
AFCII
MBC
AMS front mount intercooler
AMS Lower intercooler pipe
DSM 680cc/min inj. AMS Evo fuel rail
Evo/2g cone filter
2g filter adapter
AMS water inj.
Defi d-series boost gauge
AEM UEGO gauge
2- cf gauge cups
Forge DV
ARP 2g head studs
Walbro 2g 255 lph HP FP kit

Total installed and tuned $6587.71 Which reflects a GREAT discount from Eric, Thanks Eric!

I may need to do half next week and the other half 3-5 weeks later unles I can get 3K out of Santa ( My Girlfriend ) , She already thinks I'm nuts for putting this much in to the car. I think shes jealous as I spend more time with the Evo than her. Am I the only one here who is obsessed with thier car?LOL

I only have 3k now after I dropped $32k for the car.

Maybe AMS could host pics and Dyno info of the build up?

Then in spring ( March)

we will be doing an AMS GT35r and clutch.

damnnnn 6 large.... that is a lot... I probably spent that much on my gsx, just not at one time so it doesnt seem as much

Maybe I should wait and do the water inj. when I do the turbo upgrade with the AEM ems rather than burning money now on the SAFC and tune. However Eric said I can sell the SAFC after I get the AEM EMS.

Labor was $1775 including the safc tune with water inj.

I thought it was a bit much myself although I would rather overpay and get it done right by the pros than underpay and have problems. etc.

super afc is good for now...but don't plan on keeping it forever...sell that sucker as soon as u buy that aem...

for 6500 bucks hmm..isnt it better to just get gt3071...

That is in deed what I was planning on. Unless I can talk myself into holding off the water inj. and getting that with the turbo kit and getting the Aem Ems now?

I wish I could have stage 1-4 put on at once. Especially having to buy some parts twice and sell the ones that I only am going to use for a few months. Although I guess it will give me something to look forward 2 in spring.

Then I can look in to wheels, suspention, and lots of carbon fiber. Oh and of course an in dash dvd/nav like I had in the other one!

Well the $6500 includes all of the stuff above mentioned and labor. You dont just bolt up a bigger turbo.
Besides I want to do this once and do it right. I suppose there are alot of short cuts I could take but on a $32k car I want quality and done perfect. That is why I chose AMS. Besides they are 15 min from my work and 40 min from my home.

By the way being in the customer service industry my self, I must say these guys were extremly profesional yesterday! You can tell they really go the extra mile for the customer!

i would say get their turbo kit upgrade and aem ems right now w/ the injectors. that should give you more bang for the bucks and also adds up to your last price qoute. imo thats the better way of going upgrade if you have the money.
