The Philippine's Auto Bahn
If Germany has the Autobahn and Japan has the Wangan, then we now have the SCTEX. Subic to Clark in just 40 mins which used to be a 2 hour 30 min drive.

I hope it will be full completed by the time I get the GTR.

Its a small home based shop in Davao who restores Beetles. The owner has 7 Beetles in his garage including that 1970 Volks Transporter van, 1970 Karmann Ghia, and a top-down Beetle. He gets parts from the US too, all original. That Beetle I got was a junk heap in our neighbor's garage and I felt so sorry for that car so I decided to buy it for a really good price.
By the way, what airconditioning system are you using for your Beetle? I am planning to use the evaporator and compressor of a Nissan since the Nissan's aircon is really cold and Davao is such a hot place.
Once this is done, my Beetle will be my everyday drive.

Well not really coz the really rich guys can afford to have like 3 Porsches and 3 Ferraris under one garage, and I had seen one already! Compare my garage to theirs (even with the GT-R and if ever an Evo X), it will look like a garage of a middle class person.

Custom hanging type a/c lang for now but i have the OEM a/c na nakapatong sa gas tank sa front tapos labas ang hangin sa regular vents ng dash dahil naka superbeetle ako.
in your case since you have a 67 then no dash and if you want to restore it properly then i suggest looking for the OEM a/c na parang hanging type but of course 10 times better looking. they go for about 15k in manila, i sold about 5 units of this before. since these are about 30 years old the greatest concern are the "flaps" inside the vents themselves kasi madalas bungi bungi na.
do you have an earlier or later 67? 4 or 5 lugs?

Is it possible I use the OEM hanging type blowers and vents but use a Nissan evaporator and compressor? How cold is the OEM? I need it to be cold because Davao is such a hot place.
