JL ...oops, sorry.
Seriously though, I have heard a lot of bad things about Audiobahn's average to low end subs. I think their high and stuff is decent, but for the $$$ you could find something better IMO. I'm not very familiar with MA...I just looked for a review and couldn't find anything. The picture of the sub looked pretty healthy though.
This is just my opinion >> Please consider Eclipse subs if you are going for SQ. I am running a single Eclipse 10" and I love it. They make a new line of less expensive subs with the aluminum (maybe titanium) cone that are very reasonably priced...and very well built.
If $ is not a constraint, go for Image Dynamics!

I'll get the model # of the Eclipse that I mentioned. They are definitely worth looking into. I bought my 10" for around $80...of course I've known the sales guy forever, so I get a good hookup. A 12" shouldn't be much more though. Hell, one of my fiancee's cousins bought a 12" Polk Momo for $99 from Circuit City (if you've ever heard of them) a few months ago...now THAT'S a steal!
Anyway, unless you are dead set on one of those two...keep checking around. And if you have a good resource for Eclipse stuff, def check out their new subs! You'll thank me later.

JL subs rule!
But if you can't get them and you want sound quality then diamond audio or eclipse are both good SQ subs ma audio and audiobahn aren't very good for clean sound audiobahn does do good for SPL and show MA kinda sucks all the way around.

If you want SQ, use a single woofer in the correct volume for a lower Qtc. Image Dynamics are the ****! Very few companys build their own subs and they are one of them. (JL does build some of their stuff like the W7). an ID12V3 sells for around $159. They are a great compromise of space, power handling and Sound Quality. 200 Watts is plenty for full excursion.

/\ agreed on JL, Diamond Audio, and Eclipse. You don't have to have JL W7s to get good SQ...and you can get a QUALITY sub from any of the above without breaking the bank. I'd take Sentinal's word on the Audiobahns and MAs too.
