Boost Problems

So Last night I was cruising around and gunning it from time to time, when I noticed that my turbo was lagging like crazy. I had the boost set at 20-22 psi. Here's what happens, when gas is applied, the boost would jump to around 12-15 psi and would hang there for a second like it was spooling up, then the boost would kick into around 20 psi. I've never had this problem before intill that night. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and could shine some light as to what might be going on. Thanks!

PS: Someone suggested that the boost solenoid might be malfunctioning.

^^ if every thing is kosh electrically as far as connections go and your car isnt starving for fuel when the boost is lagging try resetting your ecu and go at it again.
