ill effects removing SAFC?

I have an EVo8 that im going to sell and it has a Intake and turboback exhuast. I have a SAFC installed and its tuned already. I want to take the SAFC off and I was wondering if all it takes is to just unplug it and the car will still run fine. I didnt know if having an intake would affect the car without being tuned. I dont want the car to run like sh** right before I sell it but I dont want to sell the car with it because, for some reason, the buyer doesnt want the car with one.

taking it off will be fine... since the safc has two saved maps, you can switch to your empty one and input in zero's. that'll make the car react to stock parameters. why don't you just put back on your stock airbox, or sell the safc and get a quick flash? you can tell the new buyer that you took it off, but it was flashed cause it "kinda" needed the safc to run flawlessly.

THanks for the help. I just don't like unplugging this on a car. I bought the car with it and just didn't know.
