4.99? Thats beyond the point where it will burn. I'm pretty sure 6.0 is the lowest afr to even have it burn. Somethings wrong and it sounds like your in over your head. Have it tuned professionally.

O.k guy remember when i said my apexi turbo timer was reading my A/F 4.99 witch was pig rich.
O.k this is really emberesing but i ran my evo8 at the track right with that a/f ratio and hit 16 and everybody was lol at me but the evo owener knew why.It was cause my 785cc injectors.but *****es did not what to help a brother out with the safc2 with out giving some cash.Thats why i came here for help but i didn't get what i was looking for.but some did help and i like to thank you guys.
but i was so piss off i put my hi at -30 and lo -5 across i did not care if the dam thing blew so rev it up to 5000 and let that clutch go then boom 7000 shift 2 gear 7000 shift 3rd gear 7000 shift 4th gear 7500 and that **** was quick. So what im trying to say is it's runing really good no knok at all.i just what to let people to know if you are runing big ass injectors like me "785cc with walbo fuel pump will my be this might help.heres my set up i'm going to the track on the 10th at alaskaraceway park and i'll update you guys on what i run. hopefully much better then 16 i don't care if i run my stock time with all this MOD as long as i don't hit 16 on an evo lol.

You definitely need a logger. www.pocketlogger.com
You might also reconsider you injector choice as it might be too big for your current setup.

If you are running injectors that big with the afc, you need to run an adjustable fuel pressure regulator...AMS has an excellent kit with everything you need to install on stock fuel rail. You will then need to adjust your base fuel pressure...do a search for on base fuel pressure as I don't have the time to explain that ordeal...Other wise downgrade to 660cc injectors and tune it like this for pump
7600>-25%
7000>-24%
6400>-23%
5800>-22%
5200>-21%
4600>-19%
4000>-17%
3400>-15%
2800>-12%
2200>-11%
1600>-9%
1000>-7%
This seems to yield about an 11.4-11.6 afr at WOT once the car is at full boost...My mods are 3 in BR Turbo back, 660cc inj, AFC2, HKS 272/272 cams, walbro 255, FP wga, and forge boost controler set to 20psi on 93 octane...good luck. Your injectors are about 30% bigger than stock so...make sure your wideband is working properly and have fun..BTW the car would not run if it were at 4.99 afrs lol...So I would get a new wideband before you tune too much...Take about 5 % all the way down the column I gave you and go from there and that will safely yield a little more power.

safc
Whats up!
785cc are too big to tune with an SAFC.I suggest a Reflash and fine tune with the SAFC.You can also downgrade to 680's and stick with the AFC/Logger combo.
Good Luck!

Its not going to be as accurate as it should. But sometimes it has worked. I had a friend do it before.
