installed AFC2 and problem occured

well me and a buddy just installed the AFC 2 with the boomslang harness, everything went well then he left i then reconnected the negative battery terminal. i go to start the car and the car starts then dies on me, so i go to start it again and its running but seems to be idleing funny and when i go to rev it just wasnt acting the way it shouild, im thinking it needs to be tuned for regular driving til i drop the rest of the mods in. anyways any info with this problem would be of great help thanks

Did you set your cylinder selection to 4? When I first started mine I was in the default which is 6 cyl. and it ran the same way. This won't hurt anything as it will only run rich. Contact me if you need any help on this. I still have my instructions and will help any way I can, peace.

yes we redid it, as you said it comes stock preseted at a 6 cylinder, so a friend of mine redid it for me, because im too nervous i have yet to learn how to mess with these devices. its somewhat simliar to my Vafc 2 just im more affraid of messing this one up.

Drives: 2005 SRT-4

Yeah I had the same thing happen when I installed mine. Quite the scary experience if your not aware of it. Luckily one of my friends had already installed one and told me what it was Your lucky to have the adapter, I had to splice into wires to install mine (SRT-4) so i figured I screwed up somewhere.
