05 Evo MR + SAFC trouble
My friend have a 05 evo mr. Today i install the SAFC for him. Every wire is correctly solder and tap. i run a shop and this is the 36 safc i have install. Anyway what was really weird about this is that the SAFC work when the car have just turn on. I can kill the car idle by leaning it out the lthrtl map, but once the car move like an inch and me trying the samethign again even at -50 the car still idle normally. Sometime at stationary i would rev the rpm up and once i let go of the gas, the RPM would stuck and boucning up and down between 2000-2200rpm. I even disconect the SAFC and put everything back to stock. went for a test 3rd gear pull and log it wiht a pocketlogger. It show he's knocking from 3k-6k with a negative number on the timing. I have never seen that beside timing pull, but negative timing
??? WTF.

I'm having the same problem with mine. I have an 05 MR too. If I rev it up fast and then put the clutch in; the rpm's stick at 4000rpm and the go down to 3000 rpm and stick there too. If I rev it up again to see if it will release it but it works some of the time. I have HKS blow off, MBC, Drop in filter and then the SAFC II with plug in play harness.
