i have mine tapped into my manifold after the throttle body. some people tap them into the UICP ( mostly AEM users though)

no pictures of the install bro, but its under the manifold. I have a JMF manifold and its taped right into the bottom of it, maybe about 1-3 inches from the throttle body. Used Thread Sealant Tape

Should have taken some pics for you, just pulled the motor. I have mine in the upper IC pipe near the throttle body. Now that I am building the engine i will move it to the manifold.

Do a search on google for AIT Sensor Install, and check out some of the pictures. that will give you an idea.
