Lets talk cold start

Now that the weather is starting to get pretty cold here in michigan, I am starting to get a taste of cold start. So what exactly causes this, and is there anything that can be done to avoid it. Is it the tuning? Or is it something that is always going to be an issue?

Have you checked out this thread yet? It has a lot of helpful information and discussion:
How-To: Warm/Hot Starts (and cold ones) with E85

I haven't had any cold or hot start issues after updating the "Cranking Enrichment IPW Adder" table as necessary. Warm starts are still a bit iffy, though. This is with 1250cc injectors and E-85.
