A twin pump set-up would be great. But you will be pushing one pump to the max to have enough fuel for 30 psi on the red. I would suggest staying around 25 to 28 psi with one walbro 255.

I have the FP Red with 1250cc injectors, and I was running out of fuel with a single pump right around 29-30psi. You can make it work for 30psi, but your fuel map will have to heavily compensate for it at higher RPM. The single pump should be good for ~420-430whp.

I will be installing a fuel rail on my car next week to see if it helps.

Most setups with single pumps max out right about 450-460whp on our mustang dyno on E85.

The highest so far is 480whp on our dyno, for a single pump. The only difference with this car is it has a upgraded fuel rail and -6 AN line from the firewall to it. Still have complete fuel control. IDC's are around 89%, which doesn't mean much though because as soon as the pump can't do anymore the IDC's will shoot through the roof.

I'm convinced the rail helps for sure.

With a "stock" Walbro I was out of fuel at 24 psi and 430 whp. With a modified (pressure relief valve pushed-in) I was able to get to 28 psi and 460 whp.

I forgot to mention, none of the single pumps on our dyno have been modded.

So they didn't have the pressure relief valve munged shut?

Nope. Dropped-in unmolested walbros. I frown upon that mod.

Interesting. I thought it was needed if pushing more than around 26 psi of boost.

I'm only on the stock turbo still, but I run an unmodified Walbro to 30 psi with no problem.

they also said that it would be making 28-30lbs of boost.. you'd think it would make more than 420awhp
