Curious about DLL and how accurate the HP/TQ #'s are compared to a mustang or dynojet
Just curious. I've been working with someone to get my car straightened out (mellon I'll come and see you later this year) and I think we are as far as we dare go on E-85 (tuning pump after this tank of E runs out......BOOOOOOOO).
My question is I know if the DLL has the correct parameters its pretty accurate, and I know that its not an exact formula (DLL reads X% above below what a mustang would read on X day, etc) but am I am looking for some generalities.
After I get tuned on 93 i plan to hit the dyno to see what the actual numbers are (and get a better sense of how close the DLL is to actual numbers.
Hopefully Chris, Mike or some of the other guys I have seen post DLL plots/graphs chime in and give me an idea. I know the car feels stupid fast on E85 so the numbers don't really matter that much to me bt it would be nice to know what to expect.

Try doing a run file on VDR and see how it compares. It seems the VDR is pretty close to the real thing.

When Mellon was at the mwe meet we talked about it right before he dynoed. The DLL read alittle less than the dynojet dyno and a little more than a mustang. It seemed like a very good middle ground.

Thats cool....I'm not disappointed with the mods I do have making the power I am.....right now the weakest link is the turbo and IC......I hope I don't have ot run a double pumper or some other sort of fuel solution for an HTA green or CBRD blue on E.
I'm trying to make it to 500 on E so I think I'm close...I'm hoping an uprated turbo, good IC and piping, Fullrace/Shearer/JMFab manifold will get me close....I wouldn't be mad with 450

In my expierence the way i had DLL set up was exactly what I made on a dynojet -
Both these graphs are of my car + exhaust + 94 octane

So it reads a little lower then dynojet but probably a little higher on a mustang dyno
