Well i got to searching around in the net and found some interesting info. There are people that live by E85 plants that are complaining about a strong yeast smell.. So this puts my mind at ease some more about getting a bad batch of E85

What ever the smell may be, it's definitely better than raw pump gas. IMO. I love the smell of E, and if someone behind you who may be contemplating racing you smells it, they usually think twice if educated.

E85 smells like that. I live by an ethanol plant it always has a sweet smell to it (like yeast). When it burns it has a sweet smell to it... the same as when they produce it. Its normal. You may have gotten more then 70% ethanol on this tank. There's a few pumps by me that have 95% Ethanol.... smell that stuff. Makes me drunk
