Seriously, I'll get a posse together if people are bothering you. It's only, what, four days of driving to get to WA from Chicago?
(In a related vein, and I'm totally out of my area of expertise here, but wouldn't it be relatively easy to whip up something to do conversion from frequency to voltage with an arduino, or something even simpler, built around a $2 F-to-V chip? I'm sure Zeitronix's product is fantastic, but I don't really need a $200 display.)

I've been talking about doing for probably a year, maybe longer. I kinda feel bad that its taken me this long. People have so much patience, or perhaps around here, its more like there is always something new going on to keep people entertained. Anyhow, I'm no expert on ICs, but I've seen an example circuit online for an f-to-v converter. Looks like it might cost $5 in parts. I think JOT would know exactly what's needed.

The right brightness display, fancy aluminum case and overlay is what adds a cost. We could make something without the display, which would cost less than $199. It still needs frequency and duty cycle conversion into analog voltage E% and temperature.

It only needs frequency conversion if all you care about is E%. *grin*
(I honestly didn't mean my comment as a slight against you guys, and I apologize if it came across that way; the market needs something like your display unit. I'm just a DIY kind of fellow, especially with small items like this, and I'm probably one of the minority of folks who actually doesn't want a display in the car, just the conversion.)

Absolutely no apologies needed. We are listening to you and this is why I mentioned we COULD make something simpler and cheaper without the display. It will not be $5 worth of parts though. It takes $$$ to make a quality design, take a piece into production and quality control it.
Braking news.
We just came back from SEMA where the Zeitronix ECA received a runner up award in RACING AND PERFORMANCE CATEGORY!
We are absolutely honored to receive a recognition and a pretty ribbon from SEMA! Racing and performance had over 2000 high quality entries and it's a very tough category!

This will be interesting since I only use e85 and don't use 93 anymore. I'll just use one map for e85 and one for e70. That way the interpolation would be a little more precise.
The only thing thats got me worried is interpolating timing values between the two maps, and then interpolating between the cells. Seems like it would be more difficult to get consistent results. But I'm probably wrong...
edit: nevermind. I've noticed that I can run similar timing by just keeping the afr's in check.
Patiently waiting.

To respect our dealers we have not done any group buys since 2004. However we do not mind if one of our dealers present on this board runs a GB for ECA and FF sensor.

Thats the thing though, the brightness on the display is nice, but the entire thing is way too bulky. I think it would be pretty nice to have a remote display that is smaller so you can put it somewhere neatly and then have a separate unit to conceal the circuitry somewhere else. Way better IMHO...

The ECA is actually very small. We _could_ make a separated super tiny display, it will add cost though and it's not too practical as the E % numbers do not change till your next fill up. Unles you want to look at E81 for a week, ECA is a perfect "glove compartment" gauge.
