Let me know if you think something is off the grid. I'm ok with feedback. I have not been dyno'd. Generally keep this around 27psi, but have increased to 30psi a few times. No knock

What I'm running for now. I'm getting tired of road tuning because I don't have a good place to do it and run lots of back to back pulls. So I'll wait until I can dyno the car to dial in the timing.
Timing and Fuel on E85 28 psi.
Datalog of a pull with the above tune. Spooling around 12.2 ish, powerband 11.8-11.7 AFR.

Here is my work in progress.
Mods include: 80mm Red, FP-4r cams, RC 1200cc, Nesei Comp intercooler, catless tbe (stock o2 housing)
The virtual dyno run was taken today in 110 degrees ambient!
Load peaks at 414.

I just switched to E85, so hopefully I will get some time this week or weekend to tune my timing and AFR.
Quick question for you guys, though. Are you using a tool like the Virtual Dyno to plot the hp/tq changes for successive pulls while you slowly ramp the timing up? From what I understand, it's pretty easy to get to MBT and past without any knock on E-85 and if you are going past MBT, then you are losing power and giving your bearings a beating, which can eventually lead to an engine failure.
Just curious about the methods that everyone is using. When I tune this week/weekend, I am going to go up about 1-2* at a time and plot each pull on the virtual dyno to see where MBT is, then back it down a bit.
For those who have found MBT or use this method, can you mention a few load/rpm/timing values for MBT for your setup?

That is exactly the way its done!
Some use a dyno, some use DLL, some use the HP and TRQ calc in EVOscan, but most have switched to JackOfTrades Virtual Dyno.

Also, it would be best to use the same road each time for your virtual dyno pulls. If you are adding 1-2 degrees and only getting a delta of 5hp it's probably time to stop.

According to my logs I still do for some reason. prior i was running a 36 psi spike on the street but I just run 28-30 psi. I need to check for boost leaks to find out why im still hitting 379 load @ 30 psi.
Edit: I found two leaks. One on my LICP, i guess i didn't put the clamp on right when I put it back on and my EGR blockoff is leaking. I need a better gasket lol.

Also if you are running a intake or induction pipe that tweaks maf readings and haven't rescaled your MAF then the load will be skewed.

Here's my work in progress. Evo IX, FP Red, FP4R cams, 1250cc injectors, single Walbro, and running 31psi. I'm starting to run out of fuel near the top end, so it's time to put in the dual pump setup.
I'm also consistently seeing a peak of 310-315 load and then dropping off to 270 by redline, so I will have to rescale the maps soon. Before the cams, I was just touching 300 load with the Red.

Are you having any spool up, or random mid range knock issues with your setup?
Not under WOT but more like random tip in always between 3-4k rpm? (say around 2psi-15psi boost)

tnt1106: Nope, haven't seen any tip in knock or any significant partial throttle knock in my logs. I have only had the cams for a week, so I am still fine tuning and monitoring things. I have seen some sporadic 1-2 counts of knock at WOT, but I also haven't altered my knock tables at all.

How much boost are you running 6500-7500 and what MAF Hz?
