Injectors for switching to E85
Hey guys, im march 09, im moving to goose creek, sc. I have already called a gas station about 11 miles from my house there that sells e-85. So im switching. My problem is my new injector size. I want to get ones that arent too big that i have hard time idling or drivability problems. But i dont want to limit myself to future mods (cams, fp green, etc...) My current mods are pretty simple. Catback, Intake, and ECU based boost control. Also a LC-1 watching over my afr's. So i was thinking either 1000's or 1200's (with a walbro 225 in the back of course). Id rather buy the 1200's but i dont know if they will make my tuning a pain. Any suggestions thanks!! E85 FTW

I have 1000cc and I am doin just fine... Spiking at 32 PSI and doin just fine with them.
No need for 1200cc unless ur gonna go with a very nice setup for a turbo and even then FP green you can go with 1150cc

It took me about 5 flashes to dial in the injectors (and 2 of those were oops-no-way-this-will-work-undo-flash :P)
My final settings (Injectors flow matched to 1088cc/min - all 4):
Scaling: 1083
Latencies:
4.6875v -> 4.488
7.03125v -> 3.384
9.375v -> 1.872
11.7188v -> 1.296
14.0625v -> 0.888
16.4062v -> 0.648
18.6768v -> 0.456
Yes those are stock voltages - but I included just incase
Trims are +1.5% for Cruise and Idle.
I am very happy!!! Car feels GREAT! IDC's are 49% (not E85) :P hehehe
EDIT - Massive thanks to MrFred for providing his initial latencies, obviously every car is different so my latencies were -2 steps from his!!

I will give you a reference point at a more extreme mod level. GT35R spike to 33-34psi level off to 31-32psi. I am at 95-96% duty cycle max with an in tank walbro 255, an inline bosche .044 and FIC 1150cc injectors @ 50psi base fuel pressure. And yes, I am running E85.
