these pics SUCK. but it is what it is and you get the idea.
i hated the OEM stud/nut look. yes it makes for install much easier but it looks like crap. so i removed the OEM M10 studs. drilled it out and tapped each hole for M12 Titanium bolts. reason for going to M12 is mainly because the Avid mount holes are M12. getting it lined up will be a pain i am sure but it will be well worth it. again sorry for the crappy pics.

That's true mine does also, i'm running a JMFab Drag Manifold, but i've see the hot exhaust warp the intake flange to were it has problems sealing the best verses the stock manifold is cast and the path goes in a few inches and allows the heat to disperse enough for an example. I know your running a DI intake manifold.

4-20 update. no i did not smoke today HAHAH.
the short block is 95% completed. i can not thank my friend Alex enough for the help. i learned so much on how to build a block properly. not only did he do a lot of the work but he also allowed me to take part in each step. he took a lot of time out of his day to help me out. it was a great experience. here are the only 2 pics i got from fridays block assembly. i was so involved i had no time for pics. nor was it on my mind.
i trimmed and shaved my power steering brackets. i was going to attempt to polish them as well. i bought a polishing kit and gave it a try. i lasted about 5 minutes and literally threw the tools on the ground screaming F this. so Dan B. ''fimotorsports'' saw i was trying to polish them. he offered to help me out with the job as he is starting his own polishing and cleaning company. i quickly shipped him the parts and a few days later i had them back. the pics do not do it justice. mirror finish at its best. these are not easy to do either. a lot of small spaces. i also fitted everything in Titanium hardware. what a great combo.
he also cleaned my alternator which was a disaster to say the least. rebuilt the bearing inside as well. he also can polish these but i opted not to.
next thing is something i have been working on for a while and it is finally completed
My custom made idler pulley. This is the piece I been keeping quite until I knew it would work. Well its gonna work out awesome. I'll give you a run down.
light weight Aluminum 90mm pulley
Outside diameter is the same as OEM.
Weight of OEM pulley 18.5oz
Evodan custom pulley 7.0oz
Custom ceramic low drag bearing
Custom spacer for proper fit and finish along with custom machine work to the pulley for proper figment
titanium bolt and washer.
Pulley is hard anodized on the belt surface.
I have a video of the OEM pulley and the custom pulley I will get uploaded shortly. This will go great with the other aluminum pulleys I have and also reduces drag. Win win. I will also get full installed pics with the other pulleys and belt up shortly.
i am making 20 of these and should have them completed in about 2 weeks for anyone interested. 165.00 shipped or 155.00 picked up.
here is all the parts needed.

On another note, i was looking at the ECSO website and saw you registered for True Street. What kind if ballast are you going to run to get your car all the way up to the 2900lbs minimum weight? that's a CRAPLOAD of ballast

Well that's awesome, I just hope they update their rules then. Nothing like prepping a car to a set of rules and then finding out they are different.I'm REALLY hoping I can make the ECSO, should be fun, and it's my "hometown" track where I grew up. Hope to meat you there, don't think we've met in OH.
Btw, I just saw the seat brackets you had made. Holy hell they are nice looking, probably the best I've ever seen.
