Need help car wont start

Was up guys i just rebuilt my motor and having a issue on my car seeing if someone could help me out, on my race gas map witch SUCKS the car starts right up, I have a friend that has almost the same mods and i tried to use his pump gas map and the car will not start with the COOLANT Temp Sensor plugged in but if you unplug it it start right up but run like ass plug it in while the car is running it dies, Does anyone know what could be wrong... sorry if i am not making since new to the hole aem

Use your race gas map but stay out of boost and see if it will run fine.(adjust your boost in the aem if you want)
If it runs fine with the sensor plugged in then his map wont work. At least you can break in the motor.

it sounds like the idle enrichment fuel table is way off. it uses the coolant temp senso feedback to adjust the fuel map as the engine warms up. I know when I was tuned it was like 60 degrees (coolant temp during cold start) and then when it went down to 35 degrees the car wouldnt even start.

Fixed it it was the mil sec on the fuel trim it was 35 out it to 55 it started right up..
