35R cars and timing maps?
Id like to see what everyone is running on there 26-27ish PSI pump gas timing maps in AEM to get an idea.... OR even the guys that run 30psi and pump! Lets see the maps or give a round about answer at least. I know not every car will be the same.. Im looking for some data here to compare with ECU Flash timing figures that im so used to seeing.
Maybe some of the Buschur guys that run big boost on pump with there 35R sized turbos can shed some light. Or maybe even Dave will be nice and help some of us out with some info??

Yea everyone has the "i dont wanna help anyone out unless i get paid" attitude. My car is tuned and makes over 500AWHP on pump on AEM so im not looking to copy anyones maps etc.. I have timing #s and i would be glad to help someone else out. I was making this thread to see what others were running compared to myself and get a good thread going to help others which would benifit everyone IMO.. Im also trying to figure out how the timing correlates with ECU flash compared to AEM as i personally have found the timing numbers to be quit a bit lower then ECU Flash. English Racing seems to be the only shop out there that gives a crap about there customers and even people like me who havent spent a dime there "yet that is  " and are willing to help and talk with me over the phone etc. I know where my business will go from now on.
Pretty sad when it becomes like this IMO.

Im running 4-11 degrees on my car at 28psi on 93. Thats with ECUFLASH not AEM tho. I do get intermitent 1 and 2s but nothing consistant or that I worried about knock wise.
I agree that most people arnt going to tell anybody. And its against the rules to post a map from a vendor. I know saying 2-12 or 1-9 isnt posting a map but it does give away alot. Im looking forward what my car will take with my new cams and head work.

I ran about 3 degrees on the hit and 12 by 8,000RPM on ECU Flash and was making 520s WHP on my 35R with straight 93 octane pump gas no knock on 26psi. Now im running about 1 to 6 by 9K with AEM.
I say we keep the thread going and just maybe it can help some people out there that dont have the thousands of $ to throw at shops.... or even get anyone on the phone to help them!!!

for timing? There is a preset on AEMpro for it, just hit the button that looks like a sparkplug. There's no raw option for time, it's just... well... degrees of timing advance/retard.
Adam and I conversed on tuning methods for quite a while the other night, I understand professional tuners not wanting to give away the secrets to their success, but A: by showing a timing map it's only a piece of the puzzle, and B: it's counterproductive to just slap a map from one car to another. Even with the same mods they all run differently, especially built cars.
I went ahead and raised it last night and I'm currently running 3 on the hit and raising it to 6 towards redline. 4 instances of raw knock above 2 volts. I'm not on a 35r, but I'm only running ~19 lbs right now on my 6262.
It'd be nice to have a thread where the guys who are tuning themselves post their maps and logs to get feedback. I know I'd surely appreciate the help.

WhoFlungPoo that timing you just mentioned ur running now should be very conservative for 19psi on that turbo IMO.

yeah, I bumped it up a little from when you had seen it, I may creep it up a little bit, but the increase in knock voltage kinda concerned me.

Take a new set of plugs, throw them in and then go boost the crap out of it and then check ur plugs

Keep dreaming man, looking/sharing tuner's fueling and timing maps is their version if IP.
Looking into a custom tuned ecu or standalone is like taking a look inside a tuners head, although that tune will not be optimal on any car but the one it was put on tuners will not disclose that information because that is how they make money. Anybody else could arrive at those same values on the same exact car in a different location, but the amount of time spent doing so would take much longer to somebody who didnt know what they were doing vs. the tuner that you paid to do it.
