O2 Sensor Check engine light

Hello everyone,

I'm sure this question has probably been asked before but i could not find the post. Anyways, it seems that when my exhaust was getting replaced my O2 sensor got destoyed in the Cat. Now the check engine light is always on because the sensor is not reporting. I have an accessport. does anybody know a way that i can get the sensor to be disabled or to get the check engine light to turn off for the reason of the sensor. I would still like to have my check engine light to respond for other things. Thanks for any info in Advance. These forums are great =)

Do you know which code it is? The AccessTuner Race software can mask some CEL's so that might be your solution.

Ok i got the software. Which i must say is an amazing program created by cobb. I'm excited for the future when i revamp my whole engine that i have the tools to completely tune my vehicle to run at its best. But i cannot find a adjustment that targets the H02 sensor. its the one in the CAT. when i plugged it in it gave me a code like H02 or heater something. any ideas if its somewhere else in teh program to mess with sensors.

ok i have found the Advanced Parameters tool and now i believe if i find out what code is going off and disable it that it will no longer have my CEL on. Am i headed in teh right direction?

Sounds right, just make sure you don't mask the wrong CEL which you'd need to know if the event does occur....

OK i have almost figured it out completely, but there is only one small problem. Under the advanced parameters there is a few of the P0** numbers and the ones from my car are P0136 and P0037 which aren't listed in the advanced parameters. does this mean i have no control over that sensor, or are the sensors grouped and i have to find out which of the other numbers include the sensors i am trying to disable?

Can someone answer me this. I am looking into getting the AP for myself. Can you adjust boost levels? Or do the maps have settings higher then stock?

I would like to know this also. I am looking to get an AP myself and would like to know if there is a fix for the second o2

Sorry for taking so long to write back, it's been hectic here getting the new firmware released for the AccessPORT; Included Data Logging inside

I've spoken with the programmer for ATR here and he's saying that the rear o2 should be used to keep your A/F's on target but he's going to look into putting the actual CEL masking in the ATR software. We need a local guy to come in so we can get the data for it.

With our off the shelf (OTS) maps that comes with the AccessPORT they do raise the boost levels up BUT the boost levels are not adjustable through the AccessPORT. To raise them higher you'd need to adjust other things accordingly, and to do that you'd need the tuning software like AccessTuner Race which you can download off our website for free. We advise not to mess around with the tables in the maps unless you know what you're doing since it could result in engine damage if not done correctly. I'd advise taking the car to a local tuner to help you out with this.

That's great to hear that data logging is now available. Thanks for the info on boost control also. I am really looking to get some type of piggyback. And after dong days and days of research lois like the AP is the most user friendly. What is the most whp that is recorded to be acomplished and what mods were needed.

The best OTS map we supply is the Stage 2 93octane for the EVO IX (Estimated 355hp / 318tq @ 22.5psi / ±0.7psi), which requires a full turbo back exhaust. Anything upgraded from there you'd need a custom map made which Jon Shaffer our tuner can help you out with via E-tuning or any of our ProTuner locations which can be found on our website.

We also have for download off our website is STU GT100 octane map, I don't know the exact number's but obviously it's better then Stage 2 93.
