Tephra's new patch has the option for no lift to shift included.

how is flat foot shifting possible on evos? correct me if i am wrong, which i might be, but sti's can have flat foot shifting due to the fact that they are drive by wire. evos on the other hand are cable operated. so how would one make flat foot shifting possible on an evo?

No lift shift is fun, but I am not on my car that much so it was kind of useless

No lift shift known as "flat shift" is a piece of code originally designed to allow you to shift sequential transmissions without having to lift of the throtle in order to shift without clutching. What the "flat shift" does is, retards back spark to reduce TQ output and unload the transmission "dogs" in order to shift to the next gear. This ony works on dog transmissions though, on a syncro tranny you still need to use the clutch. The benifit of this is faster shifts, less feet dance and less damage to the gear dogs do to more consistent operation.

Hope this clears your questions, if not ask away.
