Another cobb issue. help!

So tonight I was switching my maps over from E85 to 91 in preparation for a road trip. Prior to the reflash I hooked up racer tuner to it to do some final e85 logging. Shut the car off, reflashed with my 91 map, then no start. I was like WTF? I know the map works as I've only used e85 for about a month or so. So I thought I reflash the ecu back to my e85 again... well it wouldn't recognize the vehicle. It gave me a incorrect vehicle error and a identifier of: FF FF FF FF FF. After re-seating the dongle, reupdating the accessport and disconnecting the battery, I was still getting the same error. So my last resort was to uninstall the unit and reinstall it. Well the after going through all of that and installing the AP again, it now communicates to the ecu but still no start regardless of what map I choose. Also after the uninstall/install, it gave me a cable not connected/mis configure error. It made me uninstall and reinstall AP again!
I am totally lost and I don't understand why my car/maps all of a sudden went to hell when it was working prior to the initial reflash today...

anyone have any insight?

so did you have to go to mitsubishi to resolve this or did cobb get you immobilizer to stop preventing you from starting your car?

They sent me a stock map with the immobilizer disabled. I had to copy over my maps thru race tuner. The car started right up even on the stock map. The reason for the immobilizer being activated is still unknown to me as I have flashed with the AP many many times.

rEVoLed - it's good to hear that it worked for you.

If anyone runs into the same issue feel free to email me at dan@cobbtuning.com or if you have any other questions regarding any of our products.
