Cobb cable use for ECUFlash?

The Cobb cable connecting to the accessport looks very similar to the Tactrix. I was wondering if one can use it in place of a Tactrix cable to use for Ecuflash? I understand that the EcuFlash and Evoscan uses the Tactrix cable, I was wondering if this using the Cobb cable is possible?

The obvious answer is no, without the correct cable drivers.
