New AccessPORT Firmware

Just to let you all know, we have released a new firmware update for the AccessPORT. This release includes our "one-click" updater software that eliminates all those pesky steps for updating your hardware.

All of the information concerning the changes and additions with the newest firmware, as well as the actual downloads, can be found at the link below.

1.2.8.0 Firmware

I second that!

Chris@Cobb, I see no mention of Mitsubishi and thus I am leary of installing this version. If it does affect Mitsu, could Cobb please start being more diligent and have beeter write ups on what has been changed?

Furthermore, still waiting on a write up on what all the "live" parameters are and what the normal readings should be. Otherwise, the "off the shelf" novice usage seems rather none existent since we do not receive documentation on what should or should not be happening with the LTF, knock sum, etc.

I just view this as another example of the lack of support shown to the evo community. If I could get my money back by selling the accessport second hand, I think I would and just have gst retune without AP

I apologize, I have not had much time to keep up on the forums.

There are no specific updates to the Evo maps, but there are still changes to the AccessPORT programming itself. The logging has been improved, new features have been added into Live Data, and we have released the tuning software for the Evo.

Drives: ambystom01 crazy by insisting on spending $2000 when $400 would do

Chris,

Is there any way you guys could list either (or both ) of the Version number or latest release date on the page that has the link to the manager update? That way we can tell if we have the current version just by checking that page. For example, on this page:

http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/...06EVOMaps.html

it just says it is the new software, but not when it was new.

Thanks

Firmware, schmermware, you should be thanking them for the Tuner race release. (For free.)

Now AP owners can go iron out the kinks in their OTS tune and not have to pay someone an arm and a leg.
