I already chimed in on my own thread, but again, using the stage 2 91 octane high altitude reflash and all the supporting hardware (TBE, intake and boost pill assembly) and right after a complete drivetrain and engine oil change, I've gotten as high as 24.9 miles per gallon on combined highway/city, combined aggressive/conservative style driving.
Basically, I take it easy and relaxed on the freeway and once I enter the city, pure anger and road rage take over.
100 mile round trip drive every day.
I haven't even used the economy mode yet.

Chris, Right now, I'm technically on a stage 2 tune, albeit modified via GST. Mods are in my signature.....is this too much to safely try economy mode?

funny how I only see a couple of different timing cells and fuel cells in that tables when I look at the economy map and a stage 2 map. I wonder how much of the economy map cruising area and stage 2 cruising area are/can be the same?

That makes sense as far as saving gas. I have not yet used the economy mode as I like to have power on tap at all times. I need to driver her very "gingerly" to see if I can get better fuel economy without having to change maps.

I get 300 + to the fuel light coming on utilizing the Cobb Stage 2 91 map, and usually hae 2 gallons left over. Supporting mods of course, but other mods that i will be getting tuned for soon. Hopefull I can see 350 + to the tank.
With the economy map, I see a little better, but again, I have parts that are above the description on both the stage 2 tunes.
The sweet spot on the freeway is between 75 ~ 80 MPH and my revs hover at approx 3500. Im not full spool on boost at this RPM, but the minute you do a full spool, the needle drops pretty repidly.

Come to think of it, I am not sure that I could even use the Cobb OTS economy map. This is because I am currently running the Perrin Stage 2 93 Oct map with their E.B.C.S.
