how to put trunk springs back together
i am putting my stock trunk lid back on my car however i dont know how the two pieces go in. pls help if you know what im taliking about. i believe that they cross one another. without them installed the trunk doesnt go up when the latch is pulled.

Find the post where the moderator posts a schematic of which one goes on which side (they aren't the same). Once you do that use a standard sized hammer handle to crank the torsion bar back into place, you should be careful though because this requires a bit of force and can snap back at you if the hammer comes loose.
