2010 Lancer DE, Turbo or N/A??
I've been really interested in putting a turbo on my 4b11 engine, but I've been hearing that I should keep it Naturally aspirated... now this is a problem for me because I love blow off valves and turbos ahahaha.
but i suppose that the problem is because I have a higher compression rate (11:1)(if i am correct)...
so I'm asking for opinions and advice;
Guys who have gone the turbo route: what kind of turbo did you use? what engine mods did you have to make? intercooler brand and piping, the works? how did you do it, what problems did you run in to, and what problems do you currently have with your car, if any?
the guys who chose the N/A route:
whats the max amount of extra HP you can try and get?
my goal is to make it at least faster than a stock evo x, if possible.... I'm just jelous of evo's lol. If only i had an extra 30 G's.... :/
What was the entire process any of you guys did, PLZ make a list and detail if it's not too much trouble.

your engine is the 4b11, 10:1 CR. there are tons of threads on turboing lancers on here, search around. but it is possible to be faster than a stock evo, or just as fast. I know because I was lol

i was on i think 9 lbs, 4b11, made 276 whp. unfortunately the tune came out lean and thats how my motor blew. but im sure with a proper tune, it could still be around 250 whp and not too lean.

evo X turbo ported and polished, evo X injectors, evo X fuel pump. pretty much everything else was custom. if you look in my for sale thread, that was everything I had installed.

well the first time ever I got tuned, i was on stock fuel pump, and it started reaching the limit of the pump. an evo x pump drops right in, takes like 10 minutes. search the evo X for sale section for one, im sure someone has one for cheap, or post a WTB ad.
